Life: Boring...

So many people use words such as 'adventure' or 'awesome' today for the smallest of things. Going to the cinema or for a walk is not an 'adventure' if it was Indiana Jones and the last Crusade would have been a very different story. 

The amount of 'awesome' pictures on Instagram or tweets about the 'awesome' things people are doing are simply exacerbating. 

LIFE IS BORING! 

Boring is brilliant

Boring is benevolent 

Boring is brave

Boring it bright. 

Everyday most people get up and go through the same routine. Monotony is magnificent. 

Stop trying to escape and start embracing every day as the gift that it is. 

Taking out the rubbish, doing the ironing, washing up the dishes, taking care of paperwork, homework and various other daily responsibilities can and should be a thing of beauty. 

The world is not your oyster but you can swim in ocean of faithfulness and show up everyday for your loved one and in this we can find destiny. 

Be bravely benevolent each day doing the boring things brilliantly and our lives can be so bright that we'll have to go on an adventure down to the sun glasses hut and buy an awesome pair of unique sun glasses that so many other people are wearing. 

Embrace don't escape boring. 

Clean your teeth, take out the rubbish, do the ironing, drive the kids everywhere, go to work, care for the elderly in your family, study, read and all manor of other things we have to do, with a smile on your face, a lightness in your heart and a beautiful gratitude. This is boringly brave.
