Communication - how & what

Firstly this is not a thought that excuses not permits poor content. Essentially content is key but I also believe that a significant aspect of communication is often overlooked.

What you say is important but HOW you say it is also essential and WHAT you want to say will be better received if we refine HOW we communicate something.

HOW could be the medium used such as email, text, WhatsApp, phone, face to face or a letter along with other communication platforms.

HOW could also be the TONE used in communicating. Often a question can be even more fruitful than a statement.

Body language and location are other factors in considering HOW above WHAT. How you’re sat or stood, are your arms folded, open, legs crossed or comfortably uncrossed?

All of these elements considered and combined for me, show the importance of HOW just as important to WHAT when trying to communicate successfully.
