A funeral service is so important to every family and individual. Every person is unique and therefore every service is approached differently. Providing a personal, dignified and loving service in memory of our loved ones is understandably important to us all as it's one of the final ways we can practically express our love and thanks to those who are no longer with us.
Jim works closely with local funeral directors and families who request my support. There are a few different ways to approach a service so please take a few minutes to look at the info below.
A traditional service tends to be called 'Religious' or 'Traditional.
These services tend to have elements of 'faith' or 'religion'. There are many traditions within the Christian faith such as Church of England, Baptist, Methodist, Free Church and Pentecostal. They essentially all believe and agree on the key beliefs of Christianity with a slightly different emphasis and practice.

Many people request a 'non-traditional' 'humanist' 'non-religious' or even 'atheist' funeral service. All these terms apply to a spectrum of beliefs and expectations.
A 'non-traditional' service is more focussed on the life of the deceased including elements in the service that represents their life. These services tend to have no religious content.
Jim's focus is family first ensuring an authentic, honouring and dignified service for your loved one.

An integrated service tends to be a mixture of the previous two services put together.
These services tend to have some religious elements but also with a focus on the life of the loved one no longer with us.
