TERMS OF BUSINESS (SHORT VERSION)

These Terms of Business apply to all services provided by That Grief Guy (Jim Wilkinson), including grief coaching, group coaching, eulogy writing, training services, and online courses.

By booking or purchasing any service, you agree to these terms.

1. Nature of Services

That Grief Guy provides non-clinical grief support, coaching, training, and writing services.

Coaching is not therapy, counselling, or a medical service. If you require clinical support, we may signpost to appropriate services.

2. Payments

All services must be paid for in advance via our website or by agreed invoice.

Prices are listed clearly on the website and may change from time to time.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

Coaching Sessions

  • More than 48 hours’ notice → session may be rescheduled.

  • Less than 48 hours’ notice → full session fee is charged.

  • Missed sessions → non-refundable.

Training Bookings

Separate cancellation terms may apply and will be confirmed on booking.

Digital Products & Courses

Access to digital content (including the Intentional Grief Course) is non-refundable once access has been granted.

4. Eulogy Writing

Eulogies are personalised written services.

Once writing has begun, they are non-refundable.

One round of reasonable amendments is included unless stated otherwise.

5. Confidentiality

All client information is confidential except where:

  • required by law

  • there is a risk of harm to yourself or others

  • you provide explicit consent

Confidentiality in group settings is shared responsibility.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • provide accurate information

  • attend sessions on time

  • participate respectfully in group settings

  • seek clinical or emergency support when needed

You remain responsible for your own wellbeing and decisions.

7. Data Protection

We process your personal data according to UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy, which explains:

  • what data we collect

  • how we use it

  • how long we keep it

  • your rights

By using our services, you consent to this processing.

8. Liability

We are not liable for:

  • decisions you make based on coaching

  • emotional distress arising from the natural process of grief exploration

  • loss of income or consequential damages

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or negligence.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
